PATYKA Advanced Research has developed a unique savoir-faire in the formulation of organic and technical skincare products, based on green-technologies: PATYKA treatments combine powerful biotechnological & botanical active ingredients for optimal, visible and proven effectiveness.

Innovative biotechnological active ingredients

Biotechnology makes it possible to develop “clean” molecules in the laboratory, in an infinite and eco-responsible way. It uses living organisms (plant cells, microalgae, bacteria, etc.) and various technical processes (fermentation, cell culture, etc.) to produce active ingredients in industrial quantities without depleting natural resources. Less energy and fewer raw material requirements (one leaf or root may be enough), no land use, no pesticides, less transport: in addition to offering increased efficiency, biotechnological active ingredients are more environmentally friendly.

Since 2013, Maison PATYKA has relied on biotechnology to offer you advanced formulas that are certified organic, effective and more respectful. Active Angelica Cells, Hexapeptides, Pure and Natural Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Polyglutamic Acid… our products are highly concentrated in biotechnological active ingredients. The Advanced Plumping Serum for example, an iconic product of the Maison, combines 4 hyaluronic acids of 4 molecular weights, obtained from the biofermentation of a wheat seed and a lactic bacteria.

Valuable and effective botanical active ingredients, obtained by green chemistry

Muscat rose, moringa, wild mulberry… As experts in phytotherapy, PATYKA Research studies the plant world in search of plants that have exceptional properties for the skin. Each part (leaf, flower, stem, root, seeds, kernel, etc.) is analysed in order to extract the best ingredients according to the desired benefit (firmness, hydration, nutrition, shine, purity, etc.), in the most respectful way possible.

Botanical extracts, vegetable oils and butters, floral waters… PATYKA formulas combine all these ingredients at their best concentration, to deliver the highest levels of efficacy without risk of intolerance. For example:

- Obtained from Vigna Aconitifolia using green chemistry, Plant-based Retinol-Like is as effective as retinol, but is gentler on the skin. It is used in many of the Maison’s anti-aging products.

- Apricot or sesame vegetable oils concentrate the essential nutrients and active ingredients of the fruits or seeds from which they come while offering a wide range of feels.

- Damask Rose or Barley floral waters replace water in our anti-aging products, offering 100% active formulas.

Visible and scientifically proven efficacy

All PATYKA skincare products are subject to extensive tolerance and efficacy tests, carried out by specialised laboratories.

The performance of our products is evaluated clinically (with scoring or instrumental tests) and validated by women during consumer tests.

The fragrances, which are 100% of natural origin, are tailor-made in Grasse by artisan perfumers

The PATYKA texture palette is rich and varied to meet the needs of all skin types and desires. Oils, foams, creams, balms, gels... All offer an unprecedented ultra-sensory application experience and are organic. All this, without the use of silicone or other synthetic texture agents generally used in conventional cosmetics.

Ethical & more respectful skincare

Because we only have one planet, we want to create products that respect it and try to reduce our environmental footprint at every stage of their design:

• To formulate our skincare products, we use active ingredients of natural and organic origin, which are geographically traceable and purchased from serious partners and committed producers. All our ingredients are GMO-free, pesticide-free and sustainably harvested. We also do not use any endangered plant species.

• The use of green chemistry and biotechnology allows us to extract maximum active molecules from plants while reducing our environmental footprint.

• All our treatments are vegan with the exception of three that contain beeswax

• In accordance with European regulations, our ingredients and products are not tested on animals. We do not market our products in countries that require animal testing as a condition of importation.

• All our plastic containers (bottles, tubes) are recyclable and/or made from recycled material. Our glass containers are recyclable and all our jars are refillable since 2022. Our cases, which are real “origami” boxes, are made in Burgundy using card from sustainably managed forests (FSC label). They are folded by hand, closed without glue and printed with vegetable-based inks

• Finally, we manufacture 100% of our products in France, which reduces the impact caused by transport and remains a guarantee of quality and traceability.
